The Springtime of Our Life
As we prepare to enter the season that we call 'Spring'; gardening, and for those of us who work seasonally ( at our 'regular jobs' ), anything from construction to 'spring cleaning', are some of the things foremost in our minds.
We must realize, though, that, as the people of God in Jesus, the Christ, we are in a perpetual Springtime! In the newness of Creation, and the Presence of God in His Kingdom; we are forever refreshing our relationship with Him and with each other!
As we all prepare to tend His Garden, in this new growing season, then, let us continually prepare our hearts, minds, and bodies to actively work at this thing that we call 'Kingdom Life'!

A member of the wider Covenant Community, the Body of Christ, has written a very inspirational poem, which we are priveleged to share with you!
Is God Coming? An Advent Poem
a few pertinent lines from this poem are;
We are Kingdom of eternal light, where there’s no more dividing ‘sea’. We are ‘New Heaven and New Earth’, from deathly curse now free. New Creation – are we not? The night of Old Covenant chased away, The Sun of Righteousness shines forth in us – a New Eternal Day.

What's New?
This year, our web-servant wanted to try something new. He is fairly handy with his camera, and as he rides around his new environs, he has been photographing, mostly the clouds, but including much of the beautiful scenery in this corner of God's Garden. This slideshow will, as God is willing, be updated regularly, with a whole new batch of pictures every month, from the previous month's adventures!
We hope you enjoy these representations of God's wondrous artwork!

Special Bulletin
We, at Covenant Community Church, were doubly blessed this past Sonday, February 5th, in the year of our Lord 2012: not only did we get to hear the third sermon in Tim Martin's series on 'Covenant', we also received a special blessing from the heart and soul of Bo Stuart, in the form of 'A Communion Blessing', as a bit of a re-introductory message for the people of God!
As this subject has been on Bo's heart for some time; we were pleasantly surprised when he delivered this 'missile', a good reminder of what this practice of sharing the bread & wine indicate, our partaking, and indeed inclusion in, the Body of Christ!
Please share in our blessing by clicking here!

Christmas Archive
We, here at Covenant Community Church, have, as is traditional, delivered a special sermon around Christmas time, for the past number of years. We would like to herald these sermons at this time, and especially in this Christmas season! These sermons are pertinent, not only in this holyday season, but are instructive for the everyday Christian life. We encourage you to listen to, and heed these sermons:
for the sake of the Kingdom!

Covenant; the air that we breathe
As we, the Church of God, in Covenant Community, enter this new year; Tim Martin has blessed our congregation here in Whitehall and through our website, the larger covenant community, with another look at what exactly covenant is, what it means to every aspect of life, and how we should, and in fact need to respond to it, in order to sustain our existence!
Please join us as we begin to explore and rediscover these fundamental building-blocks!

The book of Ecclesiastes, if not carefully read, and understood correctly, can almost be dis-heartening, but Bo Stuart, in introducing this 'new' series, points out for us how we can receive the true message, and blessings, of the book.

A Beginner's Introduction to Covenant Theology in the real world.
by Steven J. Wagner
There is much confusion in present-day Christendom regarding the relationship between the family and the church, the church and the "state" and the family and the "state." There has been some worthwhile discussion of these three God ordained institutions in recent times and some serious moves toward a more Biblical understanding of the role that God intended for each. The author hopes that this explanation and illustration will encourage a greater understanding and further reformation of these vital spheres of authority. He believes that Covenantal Theology together with Preterist Eschatology provides the greatest hope for a full-blown, world-wide reformation that may possibly rival the Great Reformation.

'I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [ which is ] your reasonable service.' ( Romans 12:1 )
Uncle Sam ( U.S. ) wants your children!
The worship of Molech was, to my understanding, the practice of sacrificing your children to the false god Molech ( which, at its base, means 'king' ), either by 'passing them through the fire', actually offering them as a burnt sacrifice to this false god, or by presenting them to the king, as in I Samuel 8:10-18, as belonging to the king, rather than to Yahweh, their True King.
