In the year of our Lord 2011, Christmas Day came on Sonday the 25th of December, so Tim Martin has brought us a special Christmas Day sermon which centered around Matthew's thought-provoKing genealogy ( Matthew 1 ), which, when compared to Luke's ( Luke chapter 3 ), brings up some interesting questions. One of the many questions answered in this very deep and engaging sermon was; 'why would Matthew go to such lengths to prove Joseph's lineage from the kingly line of David, then turn around and reveal that Joseph was not the biological father of Jesus?' Tim revealed to us that it was only through the covenant of marriage that Christmas was even possible!
As this sermon was greatly inspired by the first of Bo Stuart's Christmas sermons from last year; we encourage you to take these sermons in conjunction; Tim told us that his was a natural extension of Bo's: we hope that you will be greatly blessed as you listen!
